Andy 22 months, Jay 3 1/2 Pictures from March

March is now almost over, but we have a good time the last few weeks: In order... Andy was sick much of the middle of the month, but we could never tell if it was a cold, teething, or more...After he slept in my bed for 3 or 4 nights because of coughing I took him in...and he was getting over a case of Bronchitis. AHHH- so hard to know. I love how these pictures show him TAKING OVER my bed:) John slept on the couch...and even in Andy's bed for a few nights. Found a Nuggets jersey at a thrift store and Jay wanted to find something for Andy too, so we dug something out of the clothes in the basement so they could match. After we bought a dryer I used the box as a drive-thru for the kids and their bikes. First campfire for the kids this SPRING, they did get to go out in early Feb. for a night fire but we had them bundled up. This night was a bit nicer. I got my hair chopped off. A friend let me borrow a Hulk mask until next year, I plan to use it at Jay's superhero birthday party. LOVE it when John reads books to the boys in bed. Andy pretty much cries if daddy doesn't put him to bed because he reads him 5 books each night. Disney day at Preschool/Daycare today...Andy was Buzz, and Jay was going to just wear a Cars shirt, but he would not leave the house without a costume too (and to avoid him wearing spiderman, I pulled out the woody shirt that is a little small, his cowboy boots and the foam hat so he could be Woody:)

Dr Suess Day

Check out these awesome photos of Dr Suess day and more...
This is what happened when I left Andy alone in the basement for 10 min. Could be worse.

This is what happened when the boys didn't go anywhere for 2 days in a row...we had a pirate party. We dressed up, fought with plastic swords, read pirate books, and ate Pirates booty. My brilliant plan for an afternoon of themed fun...lasted about 10 min.:(

And...my new, not quite done photo wall.

A Cheap Day Off

What to do on a day off from school when both parents are off? Use part of the day (but not all of it, so we're not behind) and do some free stuff! First, I guess it wasn't free, but it was cheap. I got a deal on an airplane toy (a mat with a hanger, control tower, tarmac and a superhero plane) at Target a few weeks ago, and after Jay did a ton of chores this morning, he got a prize. (Also, I hid all the airplanes in the house for a few days so they felt like new toys. Jay LOVED it and spent a lot of the morning flying planes from room to room.

We made a trip to Greeley and on the way Jay claimed he saw some baby lambs, a helicopter, and Ironman on a motorcycle. John and I only saw the first two:) We paid a visit to a friend at the Greeley Airport and Jay got to sit in 2 airplanes. Andy wouldn't let go of me, but he was still super excited.
After that we watched airplanes take off and land, and the kids kept yelling "Dusty" about this one orange and white plane we saw. We also touched the plane that was set up for kids to touch by the lunch area.
After that everyone took awesome naps, and I went back to town with Andy. We saw some friends, went to the craft store, stopped at the pet store to see Dogs, Guinea pigs, and fish. Andy was super cute (because he had taken a 3 hour nap) and we had a blast. Jay got to walk to the park with daddy. SO MUCH FUN for a free day off!
