Here are some pictures from this last month that are blogworthy.
The music toy at the park.
Driving the racecar carts in Lowes:
"Mum...mon muk" translation: "mom, more milk"
Um...anyone know how to keep your kid from eating rocks? He gets a warning each time, and then the next time we have to come inside...obviously it isn't working...and today he went back to eating sand. Maybe it was just a "hungry day".

videos of sweet, silly and sincere Jay
Here we are just hamming it up with eachother one night.
This is a fun little game he created...and a habit of his. He takes one of my clothing items out of the closet, puts it on his head and walks around. Yet, he usually bumps into something.
(not sure why the sound isn't working- he whimpers a little at the end...and I laugh)
I occasionally use Starfall.com with my 1st graders at school. I pulled it up and Jay and I played the pumpkin game together. I love how he says "yeah" after I ask him each question.

What we've been up to...
Exploring EVERYTHING.
Lounging in the toy train while watching Baby Einstein.
Also, Jay loves copying everything everyone else does. The babysitter and her kids have lots of fun with this, and Jay is learning so much. Now he dips his fries in katsup and wants to feed himself yogurt with a spoon. He also has LOVED all the fruit that we've been buying lately. Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, nectarines, peaches, pears... He also says more words like "airplaine" and "dog". We have been to various parks after school and on the weekends to play...and he is fearless. Even the big slides make him giggle. He has been a JOY...(and a crab when he won't take naps).

Mud Volleyball this weekend
I had a lot of fun playing mud volleyball with some of my school friends this weekend. There were 49 adult teams and we made it to the top 6 or 8 before loosing our second game. By the end we were SOOOO dirty. It just looks like we are wet in the pictures (and cold) which is true (it only got up to 74), but the mud just CAKES on you and by the end it is everywhere! Here is our team:
An action shot of me running. Go Robyn!
Going for a pass.
Resurrecting my underhand serve.
John and Jay came for a while. Jay wondered everywhere and smiled at everyone.
What a fun day. Thanks for organizing it Jenelle!
