Mt Rushmore SD trip day 4&5

Our last full day we went up to Rapid City by a faster (less scenic route) and checked out Bear Country USA, and Reptile Gardens. On the way home the kids and I went to Evan's Plunge, and Trish went back and cooked, and John slept and came to get us when we were done. The great part about staying so close to Evan's Plunge, was that some people who didn't want to swim could stay back. Bear Country: We loved seeing the wildlife close up:

The bears were our favorite. At Reptile Gardens we checked out the gators, saw a snake show, enjoyed the lizards and other creatures in the dome...

After that we headed to Evan's Plunge!

Mt.Rushmore SD trip day 2&3

Buffalo, Sightseeing, Mt. Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, Resturant and Ice Cream....this was one long day that was AWESOME!

We saw some buffalo on the way and made it to Rushmore.

After that we headed to Sylvan Lake for lunch and swimming:

Then we headed over to Crazy Horse:

We ended the day with a great meal at a Mexican Resturant in Custer, a walk through town to get Ice Cream, and a showing of the souveniers from the day:)
