Ellie- Almost 18 months

Oh my Ellie...you grow so fast! Here are some things I want to remember: You love climbing on everything. We only have folding chairs in our house so that we can put them away and you can't climb on them all the time. You love saying "moo" and have gone from a cow, dog and monkey sounds, to pretty much all farm and domestic animal sounds.
You have really loved Fall and being outside as much as possible.
You say new words ALL the time, and it is so cute:) We decorated pumpkins together because the boys were being crazy and playing football. You wanted to decorate your face too!
You are already starting to pick out your shoes (like these boots that you insisted you wear). You still don't really like bows, but you know when we put one on we are probably going somewhere!
Sometimes when you take 2 naps, you run around at night and are hilarious. One time I tried to put you in your pack and play behind the couch and lay down because I was sick...you just thought it was hide and seek.
I love dressing you up...and you love helping with things. Laundry is a favorite as you run over to the clothes, grab some and climb up your stool to put them in the washing machine.
You sing more than the boys. Favorites are: Twinkle Twinkle, E-I-E-I-O, ABC, Wheels on the Bus, Apples and Bananas, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Ashes- Fall Down.
I think you may be a thrill seeker (just like the boys).
You have so much fun with your babysitter Ami every day. And she takes awesome pictures of you:)
You sleep pretty good at night. Eat pretty well, but are still a little picky. You love your brothers, but are a momma's girl. You scream "Daddy" and run inside when we get home from school. You love being naked after a bath. Your dollies get plenty of love. You love to be a part of the action. Love you Ellie. I have no idea who gave you candy this night...but I think you say "oh, crap" at about 15 seconds.

Halloween 2017 Mario Cart Family

Our Mario Cart Family. Andy really wanted to be Mario, John has a knack for being Luigi with a mustache, I've always wanted a princess peach in that combo...so that left Jay and I to come up with costumes. I remembered I had a banana from last year that I got at Goodwill for $2, so I hot glued a face on it and he was set. (I did find a yellow undershirt and pants at goodwill for .99 each also). My costume game out of not wanting to be bowzer, and needing a good idea. Luckily...most of the kids at school had some clue who I actually was:) I found the rust yellow turtleneck at an estate sale where I also bought a white sheet and then attempted to sew a cloud. I had the Mario costume and Luigi hat in my collection, which fit Andy perfectly. I got sick for most of the 2 weeks before Halloween, so the 2 hours before our "Trunk or Treat" event, I was frantically hot gluing pieces together and figuring out my fishing pole. I did find a crown (at Target...my only splurge ($5)for the whole family's costumes!)that tied on Ellie's head kind of like a headband...which worked perfectly because she wore it on top of a hat most of the time. Ellie's costume was a peice-it-together type thing, but it was so cold out that all the layers looked fabulous. Even her babysitter Ami dressed like Mario and took Princess Peach trick-or-treating:)
Ellie had a blast practicing. Jay even built her a few cardboard box doors to knock on. She usually just went in for the candy or commented on the "goggies" (Doggies). Sometimes she said "Sucker" or "Candy, Please". She was good at saying "bye-bye" to everyone.
Also, she thinks "knocking" is also "knuckles" (as in a fist bump)...which I guess it kind of is:)

Pumpkin Patch Trips

Wow! I can't believe I haven't blogged in such a long time. Now...to get caught up. First, Pumpkin Patch trip to Miller Farms with school friends:
Then, we went to Anderson Farms with the Shaler side.
We all had a great time!
