N Family Vacation: Colorado

We had a blast spending time with all my family in Colorado this Late July/Early August!

Lori's family and Mom and Dad came to our house for a bit. We ended up garage saling with all of us, four adults and 7 kids. It was pretty crazy, but we got nerf guns, toys, stuffed animals, tools, clothes and more. Then we went up to the cabin in Idaho Springs. The play sets and zip line were a big hit. Ellie got the gist of catching people and returning the rope when there weren't enough adults to help her.

Grandpa kept on the lookout for wildlife and saw: squirrels, fish, blue jays, hummingbirds, deer, other birds and more. He showed us too!

We went on some short hikes:

Parents Anniversary Celebration

We had so much fun hanging out all together and celebrating mom and dad's 40th Anniversary!

It was also Jay's birthday:

Jay got a Drone for his birthday and has been very excited about it:

The little kids were so funny, and when they got their chocolate milk...they "Chugged" it:)

We had a bunch of fun swimming in Grandmas town pool:

Fireworks and sparklers were a big hit (especially because they are always illegal in our town back home).
